A series of paintings based on J.G. Ballard’s novel ‘Hello America’. The landscape of the USA Ballard describes has been transformed by climate change – New York City is now a vast desert with skyscrapers encased in sand dunes, the government no longer exists and Washington DC is a desert wasteland whilst Las Vegas is now a humid jungle glowing from the neon lights of the abandoned casinos.
